Story

We are mighty for MiDe! As a Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer survivor, I am passionate about detecting ovarian cancer at its earliest stages. Drs. Kevin Elias of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dipanjan Chowdhury of Dana Farber Cancer Institute are developing a blood test to do just that (MiDe Study https://midestudy.org/).   It looks for certain microRNA’s – small, non-coding pieces of genetic material-in blood samples and the initial results are promising!

In the world of battling cancer, it takes tremendous strength, which becomes stronger when combined with the help and support of others. Thank you for joining me on this journey!
