There are no registration fees to participate in this year’s events. Please consider a donation during the registration process to help support our mission.
With each registration, an individual fundraising website will be created in your name with default content about our cause. You will have the option to use this page/content to help us raise money via donations for this year’s race. Following your registration, you will receive an email with details regarding how you can customize your page, including ideas for soliciting donations and increasing your fundraising goal.
Although you are not required to join a team and fundraise, we highly encourage you to join or form one and have fun with it! We’d love to see some friendly competition between teams to see who can raise the most money and have the most donors. We will also have awards for individual fundraisers!
During the registration process, you will also have the option to create your own fundraising team or join an existing fundraising team. This will enable you to pull a group together to raise money as a team to support our cause.
This is a great opportunity to join your neighbors, gather your family and friends, re-engage with college buddies, or contacts from your past. How about a team of work colleagues or maybe your kids want to gather teammates, school friends, or extended family? Each team will have a Captain to help communicate and keep the fundraising team on track.
For those who are not interested in fundraising or participating in the race but want to support this critically important mission to prevent ovarian cancer, we included an option for a direct donation through the online registration process or the donate button.
Contribute to the event by donating to an individual, a team, or making an outright donation. Your donation is especially critical this year to fund ovarian cancer research and prevention. We need your financial support!
This year you are eligible to register for the In-Person or Virtual event. The registration system will not let you register for both.
Encourage others to support your 5K Run/Walk efforts, and invite your friends and family to walk or run with you!
We don't require that you fundraise, but we encourage it, especially this year! Money raised is important to help Dr. Elias and his team at Brigham and Women’s Hospital develop novel testing capabilities for early cancer detection, which will make an enormous difference in the fight against Ovarian Cancer.
The easiest way for donors to support you is by visiting the registration page to donate online using a credit card. This can be accessed through our event site https://runsignup.com/mightymoose5k/donate or through your individual fundraising page URL. Donations are also accepted by check. If you would prefer to donate via a Donor Advised Fund, please make a check out to “Brigham & Women's Hospital, Inc” with “Mighty Moose 5k” in the memo line. Mail directly to:
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. If you or someone on your team is sending a check, please email email@example.com for tracking.
Yes! This is a family-friendly event. We have a saying - you can Run, Walk or Stroll(er). Please consider inviting your family, friends, and work colleagues to this virtual event. All kids 1 Mile and ½ Mile registrations include registration to the 5k Walk/Run.
Simply follow us on Facebook by searching @MightyMoose5k and tag us with #MightyMoose5k. We want to hear your stories and share them with our Run/Walk friends. Together, we can motivate and help each other.
For all In-Person attendees, you can pick up your race bib and pre-race packet at Concord-Carlisle High School on Saturday, September 25th. This year, all In-Person participants who register prior to September 5, 2021 will receive a Dri-Fit T-shirt.
We will update the Packet Pickup page as we get closer to the race. This link can also be accessed from the race website.
Due to shipping logistics and costs, virtual attendees will not receive a T-Shirt this year, but will be able to print their race Bib at home.
