Team for Maya

This team was created in celebration of the life of the amazing Maya Amoils (who passed away last January after her battle with ovarian cancer), Jenna and all the amazing women who so courageously face this disease. Maya loved pink skies (thus our team picture), and our team is to honor her, all the things she loved and the indescribable impact she had on so many of us. She loved fully and deeply and inspired us all to live with more purpose, intention, kindness and strength.

As her family and partner Angela so beautifully said in her tribute when she passed: "Maya has been a supernova. She lived a full and fantastical life in her 32 years. If we judge our lives by the depth of love we feel, the good we do for others, and the impact we have on the world, then indeed her life has not been short at all."

Maya would have been so inspired by the impact the Mighty Moose team has had on furthering this critical research and improving the lives of women all over the world. Please join us in raising funds for this incredible organization and cause.
