Story

Our fundraising goal is $1,000. Anything helps. You can donate but not run or you can do both.

Jenna Hoge Swaim, a Concord resident, passed away in 2018 after a battle with ovarian cancer. This race is held annually in her memory. (One of Her favorite animals was the moose hence the name of the race). Ovarian cancer attacks the female reproductive organs and can be fatal if not detected in time. In 2022, there were over 300,000 reported cases worldwide. The money raised will go towards research for a early stage ovarian cancer detection test that could save thousands of lives. I hope you'd consider running or just donating for a great cause.

Let's beat cancer, MX.
