Many of us know someone who has been affected by cancer --- whether a family member, friend or coworker. Continued education, awareness and support is critical in the fight against ovarian cancer and furthering prevention. In honor of a coworker who lost her battle to ovarian cancer and in an effort to support this community-- I've signed up to support the 7th annual Mighty Moose 5k and raise money for Ovarian Cancer Prevention.
These funds are critically important to support ovarian cancer research! The MiDi Study is led by Dr. Kevin Elias who is a gynecologic oncologist and surgeon-scientist. Dr. Elias and his team of researchers have identified a groundbreaking new process to detect ovarian cancer at its earliest stages. The initial results of Dr. Elias’ research are incredibly promising.
This is a virtual Team CT, with an option to donate. Pending interest, I'll be organizing a 5K run / walk for Mighty Moose in 2025 to coincide with the annual race in Concord, MA in September.
