For the past three years, Team Tampa has come together to host a “Mini Moose” in the Tampa Bay area in support of the Mighty Moose organization from Concord, MA - raising funds for critical research on early detection of ovarian cancer.
The Mighty Moose 5K honors the memory of Jenna Swaim, a beloved Concord resident who passed away in 2018 at age 43 after a four-year battle with ovarian cancer. Since then, the Mighty Moose - through its main event and mini events such as this one - has raised over $1.9 million to support groundbreaking research led by Dr. Kevin Elias, including a promising new blood test for early detection.
This year, Team Tampa will host its Mini Moose on Saturday, September 27th- the day before the main event in Concord. We’d love for you to join us!

When: Saturday, September 27th @ 8:30 AM
What: 5K walk on Bayshore Blvd - starting at J. McLaughlin in Hyde Park and ending back at the store for a sip & shop event
Bonus: J. McLaughlin is hosting a shopping day that Saturday (9/27) from 12–4 PM, donating a percentage of proceeds to the Mighty Moose
